1 Penn Band

The Penn Band, founded in 1897, is one of 60+ performing arts groups at Penn. The group has nearly 120 members and frequently performs at various on-campus functions such as football games, Homecoming weekend, move-in, and more. Penn Band is notable for their scrambling band formation, which ignores typical marching band formations. Everyone is encouraged to join Penn Band at meetings on Mondays at the Platt Center at 6 p.m..
